How much does a new garage door cost?

One new steel garage door typically costs between $1,400 and $2,000, including installation. Upgrades such as wood-look finishes or vinyl overlays can increase the cost.

Exact pricing depends on the door's size, style, insulation, windows, materials, hardware, and installation requirements. We can provide different options based on your home, preferences, and budget.

Can you provide same-day garage door service?

Same-day appointments may be available depending on our schedule and the type of repair needed.

Give us a call or text, and we'll do our best to get your garage door back up and running as quickly as possible.

One of my garage door springs broke. Do I need to replace both?

We generally recommend replacing both springs when one breaks. Extension springs work independently, and having one new spring and one worn spring can cause the door to sit unevenly.

Replacing both springs during the same service call can also save you the cost of another visit down the road, as the second spring is often not far behind the first.

During every service call, we inspect the springs and cables on all garage doors to identify potential issues and help prevent unnecessary repairs in the future.

How do I know if my garage door needs to be repaired or replaced?

Issues such as broken springs, damaged cables, noisy operation, or opener problems can often be repaired. However, if your door is heavily damaged, outdated, poorly insulated, or requires frequent repairs, replacement may be the better long-term option.

Give us a call or text to schedule a free consultation, and we'll give you our honest opinion on the best way to move forward.

I don't like the look of my garage door, but I'm not ready to replace it. What can I do?

You don't always need a brand-new garage door to give your home an updated look!

Decorative handles and hardware can be added to your existing door for a more finished appearance. Updating exterior trim or replacing worn weather seals can also help freshen up your garage's appearance without the cost of a full replacement.

Can I control my garage door from my phone?

Yes! Our new Wi-Fi-enabled LiftMaster openers allow you to monitor and operate your garage door right from your smartphone using the free app.

This convenient feature can reduce the need for additional remotes and allows you to provide access to family members or guests without sharing your garage door keypad code.

Can you repair older garage doors and openers?

Absolutely! We can inspect older garage doors and opener systems to determine whether repairs are possible or replacement would be more practical.

Garage door opener systems manufactured before 1993 may lack modern safety features, potentially creating safety concerns or issues during a home inspection.

We also offer rebuilt openers and maintain an inventory of older parts that many other companies may have difficulty finding.

Do I need to replace my garage door opener when I replace my garage door?

Not necessarily! If your existing opener is in good working condition and compatible with your new garage door, you may be able to keep it.

We'll evaluate your current system and recommend the best option based on its condition, safety, and compatibility.

Can you change the style or shape of my garage opening?

In many cases, yes! Depending on your garage's structure, we can modify openings and update exterior trim to create a more modern look or accommodate a different garage door design.

How often should a garage door be serviced?

We typically recommend having your garage door inspected every 3–5 years, depending on its age, condition, and frequency of use.

During a service check, we inspect the springs to ensure they're providing adequate lift, examine cables for signs of wear or fraying, and check that the door opens and closes smoothly and quietly.

Regular maintenance can help extend the life of your garage door, improve safety, and prevent unexpected repairs.

Can you replace lost garage door remotes or add a keypad?

Yes! We offer replacement remotes, wireless keypads, and other access options compatible with many garage door opener systems.

My old wooden garage door is rotting at the bottom. Can the bottom panel be replaced?

Absolutely! It's common for older wooden garage doors to develop rot, peeling paint, or other damage along the bottom panels.

We maintain an inventory of replacement panels that may allow us to repair the damaged section and give your door a refreshed appearance without the expense of replacing the entire garage door.
